 We need donations of items for our yard sale. We take anything as long as it is clean and in good condition. We even take large items like furniture. Donations are tax deductible. Safe Haven is an all volunteer, non profit no kill cat rescue, a registered New Jersey Charity, and a non profit corporation. Safe Haven is an IRS approved 501(c)3 Non Profit. We are a network of foster homes only. We cover the areas of Barnegat, Manahawkin, Tuckerton and Long Beach Island New Jersey. Being such a small group we cannot cover a larger area. We receive no government or state funding whatsoever. No one associated with Safe Haven is paid or compensated in any way for their work with the cats We only feed our cats quality cat foods and provide them the absolute highest quality Veterinary care available. Our Philosophy is that a happy cat is a healthier cat. Our cats are not kept in cages unless they are in quarantine, sick, or have behavior problems we are working with. Our cats are kept in foster homes where they live and are loved like part of the family. We strive to keep our cats healthy and happy. We rely on donations to help us care for the cats. Always research who you are donating to. Always make sure that they are a reputable charity. You can verify our non profit status with the IRS by doing a search on the IRS website. For some reason it comes up as Safe Have Cat Rescue. You have to leave the n off of Haven or it won't come up in the search. We use Barnegat Animal Clinic as our Veterinary clinic. They are fantastic and provide top notch care for our animals.
