Southern NJ Free Rabies Clinics

Each year townships across southern NJ offer free rabies clinics for cats and dogs(I even brought ferrets one year).

Click here for a listing of all sites and dates.
You can go to clinics that are not in your town. There is no limit to the number of animals that you can bring. I brought five cats to one in January 2006. They are usually held in the public works building of the township. This is a great money saving way to keep your pets vaccinated.
All you have to do is show up at the time listed at the location.

Most of these places you have to wait in a line outside so it never hurts to get there early so you are at the head of the line. It can be cold at the ones held in the winter so dress warm! If you go to another town you do not have to license your pet in that town(sometimes they have tables set up near the exit if you would like to liscense your pet)if anyone asks just tell them you don't live in that town. I live in Manahawkin and I have gone to clinics in Waretown, Manahawkin, Barnegat and Brick with no problems..
